About Us
Datum Vega is a Toulouse-based spacecraft structural-engineering consultancy providing analysis, qualification, verification, test support, and subject-matter-expert services for spacecraft, payloads, and flight hardware.
What We Bring
Our founders bring senior industry experience from Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Airbus U.S. Space & Defense across satellites, spacecraft, and payloads.
Our technical experience includes finite element modeling and analysis (FEM / FEA), stress analysis, structural dynamics, and structural qualification workflows. This industry experience is complemented by graduate aerospace-engineering degrees from UCLA and Georgia Tech and work spanning advanced aerospace research and development, computational methods, and engineering automation.
How We Work
Datum Vega's founders work directly with customers seeking engineering services or focused subject-matter-expert support. We take on defined engineering work packages, independent technical reviews, troubleshooting and risk reduction, supplier and analysis oversight, and longer-term program support.
We begin with a focused technical discussion to understand the problem, available inputs, required decision, and schedule, then respond rapidly with a clear engineering approach, scope, and next steps.
What We Are Building
Alongside our engineering consultancy services, Datum Vega develops analysis tools, FEM processors, automated workflows, engineering databases, and AI-assisted engineering applications to improve traceability, efficiency, and the effective use of engineering resources. These capabilities are being brought together within the Chronos initiative.
Our Capabilities
Datum Vega provides spacecraft structural engineering, analysis, verification, qualification, and subject-matter-expert (SME) support for satellites, spacecraft, payloads, and flight hardware.
